1) Before work, you must carefully investigate the conditions inside and outside the workplace. It is necessary to find out whether outdoor buildings or other structures have any impact on indoor hot welding and cutting, and whether there are flammable and explosive substances indoors. If necessary, the indoor gas should be sampled and analyzed first, and only after it is confirmed to be safe can you enter the indoor operation.
2) Acetylene generators, oxygen bottles, and electric welders are not allowed to be placed in rooms where hot fire is used for welding or cutting. It is necessary to carefully check whether the oxygen-acetylene pipeline and the welding and cutting torch are leaking, and strictly prevent the oxygen-acetylene gas from accumulating indoors and causing an explosion accident. When welding and cutting are suspended, the oxygen-acetylene pipeline and the welding and cutting torch should be taken out of the room. And open all doors, windows or valves to maintain air circulation as much as possible, and use mechanical ventilation if necessary.
3) When using a roller frame for electric welding operations, the welding and cutting sites need to be kept dry, and strict inspection is required to ensure that the insulating protective equipment meets safety requirements. When working in a metal container, welders are not allowed to touch the metal container with their head, back, etc. or parts without insulation. All lighting equipment shall use low-voltage lamps.
